Basically to biopsy the gland is the same procedure to just remove it so we opted for removal since it's
one of those glands we really don't need.
It was a very simple procedure and she was home the next morning.
The bad news is it is anenocarcinoma. a very aggresive form of Cancer ....
totally NOT what we were hoping to hear.
The good news is we caught is early and the docs are very optomistic.
So next step is to sit down and have a consult with a vet oncologist to see what our options are.
So all of you that know us and Pepper, please say a prayer for us and her.
FYI: She is the same dog, other than a really funny haircut right now and a cone head for another week.
She is the same energetic, fiesty, smart, sweet, hairy, begging dog.
Boy was she glad to see Dewey when she got home.
